About

Back-office software, made by a label

VTX Service is a small, independent company. It is built by the people who need it on Monday morning.

Mael Mennal

Founder of VTX Service and of Veltrix Records · La Rochelle, France

Why it exists

Running an independent label means paying people. Every month the distributor sends a statement with a line per track, per country, per store and per revenue type — tens of thousands of lines for a few dozen songs. Somebody has to turn that into what each artist is owed, take back the advances, and answer the question every artist asks first: which of my tracks actually worked?

At Veltrix Records that work lived in a handful of spreadsheets and a folder of screenshots. VTX Service is what replaced them. It now runs the label's back office, and it is open to other independent labels that have the same problem.

What we believe

No commission, ever

A flat subscription. What your catalogue earns is yours, and the money never passes through us.

Your data stays yours

One isolated workspace per label, hosted in the EU. Ask and we erase all of it.

Numbers you can defend

A wrong figure on an artist statement costs more than a refused import. When in doubt, the software stops and says so.

Built where it is used

Every feature runs on a real label first. If it does not hold up there, it does not ship.
